The Facts:
Two big events in one day: one of Remembrance (and Joy beyond the pain), the other one a Turningpoint (unlawful law made to supplant the Law)
A worldly President (white washed and seemingly blind)
Assembled Pastors, and other people of God (some may be more blind than they believe)
Thousand upon millions of people watching…
What should have happened:
Proper respect and somber calibration for those who passed from this world and into the busom of God…
Then also Proper respect for the Lord, God, and Savior of those who passed, as well as those to whom were present…
A clear message, from a Man of God, denouncing the events unfolding before him, and that witch was in contention in the high court…
Why?:
- This was an event to give praise and worship to God for what He did in and through those being mourned for.
- This was a place that could have been used to further Kingdom goals.
- This was a gathering that should have made a stronger stand… not just for the injustice of the slain, not just for the forgiveness of the slayer, not only to remember the “good things”, nor to only remember the “negative stuff”, but for Christ Jesus.
- Because no matter the earthly standing of an individual, president or king, the only ones that should be so publicly representing the Church, should be those willing to lay down their lives (personal standing, livelihood, citizenship, and personal freedoms) for the Truth.
What is Truth?
The truth is, is that a branch of U.S. Government overstepped their bounds, crossing lines of constitutional law and declaiming a nationwide edict that they had no grounds with which to do!
Then on top of that you have a man getting up in front of thousands, claiming to represent God, when his actions and past words clearly show he, at the very least, doesn’t believe in the entirety of the Bible or in it’s validity… Then he obscures the situation more with a song ment to give praise to God, but rather it was intended to bring praise to him…
Unfortunately we brought this upon our selves… For I too was blind and asleep in the past, looking only at the man and the politics of it, when I voted him in twice… Thus I ask for forgiveness… and pray that this would wake our slumbering Church, and rile our wayward country into Action!
